Cllr Julie Iles has posted on social media advising that Surrey County Council (SCC) is undertaking a travel survey with primary schools.

“As part of our work on Travel Demand Management this research will help build a fuller picture of travel patterns across the county and show us where we can help schools in  encouraging active and sustainable travel to school”

The Survey was lunched on 15th March via Surrey Says, which is being communicating to all schools. The aim of the survey is to quickly gather key information to enable the council to consider hot to improve the roads and footways around schools, including how to encourage walking, cycling, scooting as well as “parking and striding”.

The closing date for the survey is 11.59PM on Friday 16th April. To take part, visit the Surrey Says link: Surrey Says: Surrey Primary School Travel Survey
