A2B Pest Control is a small family run business based in Farnborough, Hampshire, covering Hampshire and the surrounding counties. They provide pest control services for both residential and business premises, dealing with insects, rodents and birds as well as providing advice and assistance for certain other wildlife issues. On the commercial side they currently provide services for local SME’s, through to large national chains in construction and retail, as well as local government agencies, within their area of coverage.

A2B Pest Control is run by Andy Jones with his faithful sidekick Loki. Andy has been involved with pest control for many years and decided to take the leap and started his own business in 2018. He specialises in using traditional methods in combination with the latest technology, avoiding where possible the use of poison baits and pesticide sprays. Where practical he also uses proven organic methods to treat and prevent infestations.

Andy is lover of wildlife and the countryside and a big believer in making as little impact on the environment as possible. With this in mind, he places emphasis on prevention through a combination of barrier methods, monitoring and education for clients and staff where relevant.

The site and where possible the surrounding area will be surveyed. For residential premises the occupants and neighbours will be spoken to and for commercial the client and their staff will be asked questions. And again, for commercial premises work practices maybe examined. In this way we can put together an Integrated Pest Management programme, which dependant on circumstances, can irradicate or help manage the issue in question. “ I love to help people, whether its doing something directly or giving them the information to help themselves. I also love the challenge. Mother nature doesn’t read our rule book, it does what it wants to do. So, you can often turn up on site and be left scratching your head for a while but you fall back on your training and years of experience, do some digging around, investigate and you eventually get there. I’m a bad loser and don’t like things beating me and I will admit that on those difficult jobs, things can get personal between me and my quarry. Often to the amusement of the client.” – Andy Jones

A2B Pest Control Ltd are members of the British Pest Control Association, (BPCA) abiding by their rules and codes of practice. They complete Continual Professional Development training through the BPCA or it’s affiliates and are also members for the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU).
